Fiberglass Boats

1. All fiberglass parts must be dull (paper grit #320 or finer).
2. Apply one coat of EP-Guard epoxy primer 1500 Series for a minimal dry film thickness of 3 mils.
3. Apply two coats of Glass-Guard polyurethane 2800 Series for a minimal dry film thickness of 2 mils.
Aluminum Boats

1. Condition new aluminum surfaces with AGA-2000 and let product stand for 15 minutes. Rinse with water and wipe with a lint free cloth.
2. Apply a light coat of vinyl wash primer Vinyl-Shield 7342 to obtain a maximum dry film thickness of 0.5 mils. Let dry for 15 minutes.
3. Apply one coat of EP-Guard epoxy primer 1500 Series to obtain a dry film thickness of 2 mils. Let dry 3 hours.
4. Topcoat with two coats of Glass-Guard polyurethane 2800 Series to obtain a dry film thickness of 2 to 3 mils.
